The Central Virginia Beekeepers Association offers mentorship to new and aspiring beekeepers. If you are thinking of keeping honey bees, or just started and need advice, consider signing up for a mentor to help you out.

Mentors are paired with beginners once a year, in the winter. If you need help in the meantime, come out to one of our monthly meetings.

It is also strongly recommended that you take a beginning beekeeping class, such as the one CVBA teaches through Albemarle Parks and Recreation. You should be able to sign up starting in the late summer, on the Parks and Rec site.
