All ages are invited to the July Honey Tasting, Pot Luck, and Family Fun Day.

• Honey Tasting! Bring samples of honey from your hives or honey you’ve collected from hives around the world. Sampling spoons and “pallet cleansers” will be provided.

• Pot Luck! Bring a pot luck dish to share. The dish doesn’t have to be made with honey but kudos to those who do! Plates, utensils and beverages will be provided. All the food will be inside the air-conditioned Ivy Creek Educational Building

• HUGE Raffle! Truckload of beekeeping tools and equipment will be given away!

But that’s not all

Outside activities (depending on weather)

• Queen Bee Tent! Ryan Williamson is providing a queen bee experience, giving beekeepers a chance to practice handling and marking queens.

• Painting hives and more! Kids of all ages are invited to show off their artistry by painting hives! Prepped hive boxes and unassembled hive stands will be provided along with outdoor paints, brushes, and wipes for simple clean up. Please bring your own smocks or aprons.
